OhioMeansJobs Workforce Centers are able to post jobs online for employers, as well as run a resume match of jobseekers who are already enrolled in the system. Business Service Representatives can also screen resumes and applications to increase the number of qualified candidates for employers. There is no cost for this service. The Business Resource Network (BRN) is a collaborative and systematic process that provides individual businesses with a single point of contact in order to address challenges and opportunities and tap into the collective resources of workforce, economic development and education partners. This collaborative philosophy moves from transactional services to a disciplined and consistent partnership structure. BRN Partners in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties include the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, the offices of Congressment Johnson and Ryan, Youngstown State University, Kent State University Campuses in East Liverpool, Salem and Trumbull County, Choffin, Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull County Career & Technical Centers and numerous local governments.

On the Job Training
On-the-Job Training is available to qualified employers. This program is targeted towards assisting employers with the costs of training a new hire with reimbursement of up to 50% of wages. Customized Job Training
Customized Job Training funding is available through the Pathways to Competitiveness grant. Companies can choose to request training for their workers and receive up to a 50% reimbursement or collaborate with one or more additional companies as a consortium which would then receive up to 75% reimbursement of training costs.
