MERCER COUNTY — Mercer County 10th graders will get the chance to learn about the variety of career possibilities in this area when they attend the Business & Industry Career Fair organized in part by the Shenango Valley Chamber and funded by an OH-Penn Pathways to Competitiveness Grant administered by West Central Job Partnership.
The event will be held March 13 at the Park Inn by Radisson, Shenango Township. More than 800 10th grade students from Farrell, Sharon, West Middlesex, Reynolds, Sharpsville, Commodore Perry, Grove City, Lakeview, Greenville, Mercer, Jamestown, Keystone, Wilmington and Mahoning County Career and Technical Center will have the opportunity to meet face to face with company representatives and representatives from post-secondary schools to learn about careers for both the college and the non-college bound student.

Next students will learn job readiness skills by playing “Jobs Jeopardy’’ with a panel of local HR experts reinforcing the correct answers.
